I think the romance category may actually have books I want.
Disappointed by the Mystery & Thrillers. It's mostly stuff I've read or not interested in trying.
Only looked at Fiction - Mystery & Thrillers - Romance thus far.

Good plan for secret projects. :)

Oh no, not another sale! >.<

edit--found it! I jumped around looking for it in convoluted ways and then finally realized it actually had a banner on the front page. >.< *facepalm*

And has anyone read Will Wight's Elder Empire series, the one where he's got a 3 book series for each side?

And has anyone read Will Wight's Elder Empire series, the one where he's got a 3 book series for each side?"
I have all of the books and only read 2 of them. Not as well written or plotted out as Cradle. I was very excited by the dual perspectives angle. Then I listened to the first set & haven't made myself finish them. I've had them for a few years now. Maybe I'll change my mind if I read the rest of the books, but I have to get to that point first. XD

I picked up the first of each for the 2-for-1 sale. At the very least, the will count for the "25 or under" slot in Bingo, which is my last empty box. :)
I also picked up:
Firefly books 2&3 (only ones not in the library)
Space Force
Rise: A Newsflesh Collection
Also got two books in the Expeditionary Force series.

I've definitely come to appreciate the importance of a good listener and the need to just talk it out--it's hard for a lot of folks to listen without trying to control or direct the conversa..."
Listening is one of the biggest gifts we can get another. Most people just want to feel like they've been heard.
Soo wrote: "I like that my "book family" was mostly in place before the pandemic and it grew during it. =D"
Yep, you all are my book family :D Love this group. Even if I'm the old slow one compared to you youngins! ;)

Ok good, it's not just me lol I'm like WTF is Audible having another sale after just having their whole site on sale??

Squirming visuals.
I need to dig in my audiobook collection and see how many SF I have, because I've sorta ran out of those to read. XD

OMG--I don't even dare to try.
Further Chapter 9 (view spoiler)

Nirkatze's comments on AV makes me want to re-read. XD
I have BR's I need to catch up on. XD
Just say nooooooooo. lol

It's not sorta, it's a real concern! LoL!
Which is why we have all become savvy sales savers. =D

From the Audible Sale:
I got these two:
- The Doors of Eden
- Oh Great! I was Reincarnated as a Farmer

@Narilka--ditto on Soo! Those look interesting!
I haven't read any Adrian Tchaikovsky yet, but I really want to. I thought of picking up the audiobook, but he's an author I want to read in text. I wouldn't mind trying to read that with you--but I'll take a lot longer!
AV3 Chapter 18--feeling pretty bad for Androidia (which is a great name, btw)

Good for her for I guess? 😂

I totally missed the part where (view spoiler)
AV3 Chapter 22 OMG! Professor Well Actually (view spoiler)

Good for her for I guess? 😂"
Lol, pretty much the only thing one can say in that situation. >.<

Maybe I should try Legends & Lattes? Is it too late to join the BR train?

Epilogue. (view spoiler)
I think this one is my favorite of the three. Is this the end, or will there be more, do you think?

Chat away.
Andrea Vernon - We can always write Kane & ask. He's pretty cool. Though, I basically hope there will be one and he's written #2 & 3 closer together than between #1 & 2.
Looking at his author page, Andrea Vernon & Orlando People are his only published works... and there's a space opera he's been working on since Andrea Vernon #2, according to Q&A section... so I'd say chances are high he'd keep writing in the series, unless he REALLY wants to branch out... and considering how #3 ended, I doubt it's closed...

It's still a hilarious story with fun plot progression. Hopefully, the author will have #2 out soon. It's been about a year. #1 was his debut release and it's done well within the LitRPG niche.

I feel like I should have waited an extra week, like you guys did... I read it last weekend, because I thought we were supposed to, and didn't love it as much... altho I enjoyed it in general, in the end... Andrea Overload, or something...

Do all of Ms. Oh's similes really exist in Georgian dialogue then? 'Cuz that would be something!

I like that most folk drawn to the café are much like that quote from Chapter 1--trying to find a life path other than what they "are"--or what others think they are. I like the voice Baldree uses for the ratkin baker and I really want to know his backstory. I feel bad for the kid with the lute. I'm sure he'll be back. It sounded like he was trying to use it like a guitar.
The antagonists give good tension to the story while still maintaining the slice of life fee. "Insurance" hustlers, folks trying to drag the past back in the door--I've got good anticipation feels rather than dread ones--I'm looking forward to folks getting smacked down.
