Cosmonaut Keep by Ken MacLeod, originally published in 2000 and being Hugo Award Nominee for Best Novel (2002), and Arthur C. Clarke Award Nominee (2001)

I nominate Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro published in 2021. Ishiguro won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2017. The book was nominated for the Goodreads Choice Award last year.

I nominate Golden State by Ben H. Winters from 2019.

The internet, and the world in general, is full of non-truths. What if it was illegal to say anything that is not true? Wouldn't that be wonderful? ;)

I'll nominate Trading in Danger by Elizabeth Moon. It's a space opera with an excellent young heroine who is heir to a galactic trading company, but she does things her own way.
