Kenya Lund | 12 comments Villain is trapped in a mirror world, tricks protagonists (who are teenage I think), but protagonists still beat the villain, castle setting. I read it eight years ago maybe?

Help, my memory on this is so foggy. :/

Anyone have ideas for what book this is?

Kenya, is this book for teens or adults?

What is the mirror world like? Are the protagonists from that world? How does the villain trick them?

Kenya Lund | 12 comments The book mostly takes place in a big rambling castle. Mideival world setting. The protagonists are not from the mirror world. I think the main girl stumbles across the villain on accident or when reading or something and he befriends her. I think he tricked her into going into the mirror world herself/ getting stuck and setting him free. Or maybe just setting him free. He does this by making her want to be someone other than herself. Like, playing to her insecurities. I think the villain had a sort of spindly spidery vibe and his name may have started with an S. Not human I don't think? But human-like at least. I hope that helps haha

Kenya Lund | 12 comments Oh and it's probably teen fantasy, or maybe even for kids bc there wasn't a strong romantic plot

John Green | 63 comments Bit of a long shot, but some of the elements sound like The Mirror of Her Dreams and A Man Rides Through. It's not an exact match, but ...

Kenya Lund | 12 comments It's not either of those but I can see the similarities:) thanks for the ideas

Glad you found your book, Kenya. I marked your request as Solved by clicking the small "edit" link after the header/ topic title. This only works on the full Desktop Website - not the Mobile Website or App.
