The Mapping of Love and Death by Jacqueline Winspear – 4 Stars

In this book set in 1932, Maisie is trying to find out what happened to an American cartographer who joined the British forces in World War One and declared missing in action, but whose remains had been found recently. There are also some changes in Maisie’s personal life, and she seems to be growing and becoming more likeable as a character. There was a twist at the end of the book, so I’m looking forward to reading more about that in the next in this series.
