I need to get to a library next week for a copy ofSusters van Eva, and I am not sure if it will be available.
Finished my first country, Nigeria. No Longer at Ease, the second book in Chinua Achebe's African trilogy. There might be a technical problem with this one, in that I started reading it on the 30th of December. If that disqualifies it I am happy to slot in another. Will share a few lines about the book in due course.

Q1 update: Read 60, 12 set in Africa, 10 African authors, but only read 1 of 8 in the Random African Travels Challenge thus far. I have a scheduled buddy read for Ancestor Stones later this month. Please feel free to join us.

Looking forward to our buddy read, Wayne! It's amazing how we manage to read many books NOT in our challenges!

I think part of the reason is that quite a few of the groups I belong to, select books on a monthly basis, whereas many of the challenges are picked in the beginning of the year. In the South African group this is less of a problem because we pick our own reads in the quarterly challenges, so greater possibility for overlap with the annual challenges.

I am looking forward to Ancestor stones. We have three more Buddy reads after this, so maybe we should look at our schedules for after July.
Q2 update: Read 111, 26 set in Africa, 19 African authors, read 4 of 8 in the Random African Travels Challenge thus far.
