Just passing on an Aussie website with second hand (good condition) as well as new books at good prices. Book Grocer has an EOFY sale on at the moment, as well as a 20% discount on already reduced prices with EOFY20.

https://bookgrocer.com/collections/al...

An excellent substitute to Book Depository, cheaper than they were as well as quicker (from Melbourne)

Thanks for that, Brenda. I have never heard of them before.

No I hadn't either until a few weeks ago Dale.

Krystal (krystallee6363) | 2304 comments Book Grocer is pretty decent - they do pop-up stores all around Melbourne. They bulk buy stuff from warehouses and sell cheap, so they don't often have all the best sellers but what they do have goes cheap.

I didn't realise they did second hand as well though!

I just bought their box of hard cover books for preschoolers. It cost me $100 for 19 top quality books. I was delighted!

That's fantastic Phrynne! I'm managing to get my Louise Penny in dribs and drabs :) They're heaps better than Brotherhood IMO...

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments Picked up Forever Home by Graham Norton at Salvos for $4, and also told the very grateful book lady there about NetGalley. She was busy putting nice clear letters of the alphabet between each section, and agreed that Vinnies colour sorting is utterly crazy.
