Sarah | 1543 comments Here's my review of The Christmas Murder Game by Alexandra Benedict, an entertaining blend of the traditional seasonal, country house and deadly treasure hunt mystery tropes, and full of mind-bending cryptic clues.

Carolyn | 9836 comments Found Object by Anne Frasier Found Object is not one of Anne Frasier's fast paced thrillers, but a slower murder mystery set in Savannah in America's south.

An emotional character-driven literary fiction. Works pretty well but slow-paced.

Carolyn | 9836 comments Barbara Kingsolver's new novel Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver Demon Copperhead is a reworking of Dickens David Copperfield set amongst the rural poor in Appalachia. Demon is a character full of resilience that you can cheer for even as he suffers through the lowest moments of his childhood.

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments I enjoyed Rachel Joyce's The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry a second time and wanted to know why Queenie fled from him so abruptly. The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy shows what a secret and surprising connection she had with his family.

Carolyn | 9836 comments I've been listening to the audiobook of Starsight (Skyward, #2) by Brandon Sanderson Starsight by Brandon Sanderson, the second in his Skyward series, to help pass the time while I've been machine quilting a king size quilt I started making during lockdown. It was perfect for whiling away the time enjoyably.
