Yes, I DO love it. Thanks, Marianne! I also enjoyed Sulari Gentill's short story The Company of Rats. Rowland Sinclair is only 14, but he knows the ratcatcher's a bit suss. ('suspicious', for non-Aussies)
The Company of Rats by Sulari Gentill 4.5★ My review of Company of Rats with a link to the story online

Carolyn | 9836 comments This was a different sort of murder mystery with a firm of defence lawyers looking into the disappearance of a client arrested for murder. I didn't realise it was #19 in a popular series of legal thrillers, but it is self contained and worked well as a stand-alone.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9973 comments I've said before that the narrator is critical to the enjoyment of an audiobook, and whoever picked Lewis Fitz-Gerald for Emma Viskic's Caleb Zelic series got it exactly right.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9973 comments Readers who enjoyed Jaye Ford's earlier-published Already Dead will lap up this extra dose of that book’s gutsy protagonist, Miranda Jack, in this prequel, Already Gone. Gripping Aussie crime fiction.

Andrea | 2163 comments Grimoire by AA Kim Wilkins/Kimberley Freeman is a large chunk of a book, but definitely worth a read. There is a new audiobook edition that I found easier to get hold of than the original paperback (circa 1999).

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments I have just started Death Most Definite which is the first in a trilogy by QLD author Trent Jamieson.

It is a very fun (so far) supernatural action book and at the moment at least it is set in Brisbane. This ticks a lot of Aussie Readers boxes for different challenges, so I thought I would give it a shout out :)
