Current Reading 'Meg' by Steve Altenhttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
However, I'm in my fist editing round of 'Signed in Blood'. So technically speaking, I'm reading that as well. LOL!
Check out the prequel here if you're interested: https://www.hashblackauthor.com/signe...

it's really good so far! i'm only about 30% into it, but the set up has been great, and the tension is already palpable.
I started Joe Lansdale's latest, a collection of stories about Hap and Leonard, most of which have been published elsewhere over the years. Born for Trouble: The Further Adventures of Hap and Leonard
Classic, Stephanie! I haven't read that one, but I read The House on the Borderland and Other Novels and that was one messed up story.
I"ve been reading
The Violence by Delilah S. Dawson and I've just started listening to
Under the Whispering Door by T.J. Klune

Currently reading Peter Straub's GHOST STORY. I remember the trailer for the movie adaptation coming on TV when I was a kid and it scaring the hell out of me. Still haven't seen the movie, but 40 or so years later I cracked the novel. Almost finished it now (...and it was worth the wait!) https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

As for the movie, sure, watch it, but it doesn't do justice to the book. Which is too bad because the older actors put in good performances -- the last for Douglas and Astaire -- though the movie is stolen by Alice Krige. By rights, it should have been a star vehicle for her.

He's been deleted, blocked from the group and reported. He may have made more comments that I did not find, so if you see any, please let me know or if you're a mod, feel free to delete them.

Novel about the low-life and misadventures of German serial killer Fritz Honka. The movie The Golden Glove was based upon the book. It is my first contact with author Heinz Strunk, who usually seems to write in the comedy/humor/satire sector.
Kandice wrote: "I'm currently reading Good Neighbors by Good Neighbors, and while it defies genre, I am definitely finding it horrifying!"Thank you, Kandice! Based on your recommendation, I started reading it yesterday and now I'm hooked.
About to start "The Girl on the Porch" by Richard Chizmar as it's a very short story/novella but one of my new favorite authors :-)
I just finished Man-Beast by Deborah Sheldon, about a travelling troupe of boxers in early 20th century Australia and a clan of sasquatch-like creatures who live in the hills. It's fun and violent and a great read!

Oooh, Cindy! That WAS a good one!
Just started "Night of the Mannequins" by Stephen Graham Jones last night and am enjoying it. LoL this is crazy!
