@Alyana - no colored cards claimed here - and thank you! I hope to get my act together by March. Appreciate you reading extra!@Annalisa - thank you! You will definitely be picking up my slack. I over-read in the Tower Teams so I am now paying for it - both a slump and picking "bad" books. Thank you again!
@Insiyah - great! Don't hold back! At this point my goal is 3 books (originally pledged 5 and now one won't count -- oops).
Thanks everyone for your support!
@Maggie - we got you! I hope things are looking up already. Keep going -- this is just temporary...HUGS!!!

Alyana, how was the book? I've been wanting to read Gone Girl, but I'm a bit wiped out with convoluted thrillers lately.

Any kind of Thriller is my go to genre but if ever I get tired of it (which is rare) I just switch to romance or historical fiction.

Gone Girl it is, then, when I get around to it. At this point, I might as well add it to my Cleansweep shelf so it may have a chance of coming up.
I love historical fiction, but I usually gravitate more towards classics and contemporary books - I'm very selective about the kinds of books I enjoy and would re-read or buy a hard copy of.
Annalisa wrote: "@Maggie I hope things are looking better for you. If you don't have the time you can just put your completed books on your Uno shelf. I'll figure out how they work for cards and get them on the SS ..."Thank you!!
Things are getting a little easier. Today is day two of a new school for the kiddo. He was able to complete a full day of school for the first time since October something and he was happy to go back today. I was also able to sleep last night.
My Dad is healthier and is mostly recovered. My mom is still very tired, worn down, and it is hard for her to carry on long conversations, but she can text like a fiend and her regular insomnia is back. She's back to being my 2am texting buddy.
I'm reading for the Bachelor Challenge which ends on the 2/18.
I have my Green cover book as an audio book and I'm hoping I can listen to it this weekend while getting some chores done around the house (I keep saying this to myself....)
I've got my current Feb reads up, and I'm going through our number cards now to see if any fit and where. I also have the rest of this week's reading plotted out so I'll see if any of those can sneak in.
Thanks all! I really did NOT see my life imploding in this way and I'm super pissed at the universe that it did. I've had to lean on people more than I care to for too long. I'm usually the one who prefers to be the help not need the help.
