L (readsbyl) | 5 comments Hi all!! So here are two of the books I definitely plan on reading this month, I’m just not sure where is best to put them on the spreadsheet.

I have the blue cover of Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. And I have A Court of Mist and Fury (book two of the series) by Sarah J Maas. The book I own is the greenish one but on here it’s blue. So which colour would I go with?

Sorry, because it’s my first go I’m super confused 😅

message 104: by Angela (new)

Angela | 655 comments Hi L! I have read both of those books so you could always use them as a Reverse card too.

Stephanie (stephreadsnnc) | 183 comments I am so excited I have a book coming through Amazon today that I purchased last summer because I fell in love with the series. It's the fourth book of Tracy Wolff's series Crave.
Court (Crave, #4) by Tracy Wolff
It is a yellow cover and I know as soon as it arrives I will devour it immediately. If it will not work for this month hopefully it works for next month.

You don't always have to read based on color. We have a very limited selection of colored cards this round. And they've all been previously claimed. Of course, feel free to read books that can be used as a backups. Narsku and I will move books around as needed as the month goes. But, you can read basically anything you want. We'll find a space for it when the time comes. :) And if you have books you want to read that aren't any particular color, feel free to read them! The basic number cards, reverse, skip, and draw 2 don't require a color. Only the colored cards and the Draw 4 Wildcard need a solid colored cover of red, blue, yellow, or green.

I think I saw a couple of Wild Draw 4 spaces left on the sheet if that ends up working for you??

I think that would be really helpful Beth! When I try to go through others "Read" lists I end up getting distracted and adding to my TBR pile...

This one has been on my list for a while. How was it?

❀●○●○Ashley○●○●❀ | 390 comments Denise wrote: "❀●○●○Ashley○●○●❀ wrote: "This one has been on my list for a while. How was it?..."

This is an 'it's not you, it's me' kind of book. I didn't realize how strong the family drama element was going to be in this, and it's not something I like to read about...

If you do like family dramas, then you're probably gonna enjoy it more than I did.

Sara Hollingsworth | 643 comments Glad to see everyone getting into their reading! Also interesting to hear about what Ashley thought about Malibu Rising since that book is on my to-read list. Might put it off now since I'm not a family drama person.

My week has been nuts work wise, I've barely had any time to do anything fun, hence my being fairly quiet. But, looking forward to finally getting to a book today, and I'll be updating the official sheet this weekend with our completed books.

In hand two, can anything go into that Wild slot?

Also, are we supposed to be choosing another slot as we finish books?

From what I know, for a Wild card, you can duplicate any card in that particular hand. Yes, add new books once you are finished!

Exactly this for me as well. It was really therapeutic to binge an entire book today. I should really have done some work today as well but I just couldn't after the the week it's been. Oh well.

You can do both or just the spreadsheet. I think it's cool that some of you guys are doing both. That seems to be sparking some discussions about the books read seeing it in the thread. But it's also perfectly fine if it only goes in the spreadsheet. Just make sure it's in the spreadsheet because that's what I'm using to fill the official one.

message 141: by Narsku (new)

Narsku (goodreadscomnarsku) | 118 comments Angela wrote: "Quick question....are we to put our completion post here and fill out the spreadsheet? Or would just the spreadsheet work?"

I could add to Sara's comment that posting here makes it more likely that others will notice if the book would work for reverse, for example, and that's been missed by the reader, but it's just a bonus.
