I made a hole in hand 3. I am not liking the book, so I stopped. I can find another, unless someone wants to fill it in before I can.

Ooofffff. It was a miss for me honestly which may be surprising because I read it in less than 24 hours. I felt that given the synopsis and the title that the author should have spent more time on the relationship between the elephant and the MC. It also had a rushed ending in my opinion and took a turn that I just did not really care for. Unless you are dying to read it, I would give it a skip. :)
And yay on getting The Searcher finally!

Okay, Team. April's cards are up! We have new cards this month, like really new cards. So instead of Wild 4 cards this month we have Overload cards!
These Overload cards have different rules. So here is the excerpt from the rules guide:
Overload cards are also cover colour cards, BUT they require different colours.
The colours you can use for Overload cards are the following:
- purple
- pink
- orange
- brown
- grey
- white
- black
You can only use each cover colour once
We also now have Skip Color Cards, and a ton of color cards for April! We're going to be drowning in cards.

you have to go to the bottom and unclick "Exclude Background Color from Extracted Colors"

Does anyone feel like they aren't going to be able to finish their books in time? Cause I can cram something in if needed if there's nothing in the overload section that fits a certain card.

It's not that I'm not sure I can finish my book, I'm just a little worried that there might be a tiny part of it in England or some other country that's on the list. I'd rather just swap it out just in case since I won't be getting to it until the last day. If not, I'll just keep my fingers crossed and get it read haha.

We actually don't use tineye anymore to decide, though it can be used as a guideline. We go by sight judgment usually. Let me take it to the captains and see whether they think it'd work.

Hi, everyone! So we're done! Sorry, Kylie, but due to some concerns about my ability to hop online tomorrow and not knowing Narsku's schedule, I just went ahead and moved in Ashley's backup.If you haven't finished your book and would like to, you're welcome to roll it into next month.
But, with that, the total points put us at 3rd place! So, down a couple spots, but oh well. That's how the hands fell. We did excellent work, and I'm sure we'll do great next month!

I am going to give up my yellow 2. I started the book last night and I can absolutely not make myself continue reading it. Yes, it's that bad. :) I can take a Pink Overload card if you want? I was planning to stick the book in my carry on for my flight tomorrow anyways.

Well… I finally found a bad book that I had to struggle to finish (thankfully it was an audio book and I could listen while cleaning). Eight Perfect Murders was meh at best.

Okay I'm back! Last week was a mess anything that could go wrong went wrong. I apologize for leaving you guys hanging! I was able to finally finish off The Last House on Needless Street Sneak Peek but it was a struggle. The ending was interesting though. It was more me than the book I'm more of a romance-ish, Urban Paranormal genre kind of girl.
I am finishing up The Song of Achilles and will be filling that into the chart tomorrow sometime.
So glad I decided to reread Take a Hint, Dani Brown before reading the last book in the series. Loved this book so much the first time as well

I think I found a book for our 5 Green. I have a hold on it at the library and am next in line… but don’t want to claim it on the spreadsheet till I know I have the book. How is everyone doing? I have my first business trip in ages in a few weeks and am excited to finally be traveling again and reading on a plane.
Ohhhh Karolyn! That’s me this week! It’s been my first of many business trips for the first time in 2.5 years. I am not getting nearly enough reading done though with meetings and dinners.
I put my books on April's spreadsheet. I didn't want anyone to forget I'm here.

About The Last House on Needless Street, (view spoiler)[I seem to be in the minority because I started thinking early on that Ted = Lauren but then it took me ages to figure out how Olivia fit in. The leggings buying scene was what confirmed my hunch that Lauren had to be in Ted's body.
What kept throwing me off was that I sometimes got Ed Kemper vibes from Ted (huge size, an abusive, homophobic mother, learning about psychological disorders to mislead a healthcare professional - I even thought the dog lady would end up being a counterpart to Kemper's mother's best friend.) So I kept suspecting there was something murdery about Ted even though he wasn't keeping a girl locked up. At the end I of course thought I'd had it all wrong. Then, in the afterword the author made a reference to Dennis Nilsen, someone you mainly know of if you're a bit too interested in serial killers so maybe I wasn't completely off. After all, the author did initally start writing Ted as a murderer before changing the book to something else.
Anyway, I'm a horrible cynic and I thought the ending was too hopeful to be realistic. Nonetheless, the I think Ted's mind was very well executed, Delilah's not so much. (hide spoiler)]
