I mean if you were going to start the purple one for the mini, but there's no need to rush it then we can use it for April, so I'll skip purple in my plan. We all can log books for the rest of the colors and we'll decide as we move along.

I've added books to the April Spreadsheet that I intend on reading during the month. I think they all seem to help meet task requirements. Also, If anyone has read any of the books I listed please update the Reverse column on the spreadsheet. That way we can know using it for Reverse is an option too = )

for my audiobook.I know I read Island of the Blue Dolphins in school (maybe middle school???), but that was many, many years ago and I can barely remember how the story goes. So if anyone has read either of these books already please make note on the Reverse column. It looks like The Revival of Opal & Nev could be used for an Orange Cover as well though.
If someone has a Blue book that's a 2 and 3, we can use it to kill two color cards with that one book in the 17th hand.
I guess I do. I'm currently reading it. I'll finish it by tonight. I know it has a 3. I'll confirm if it has a 2 too.
I also have one book that works for Blue 2, 3 and Skip and one Blue book that works for 3 and 9. I was planning to start either one of them tonight or tomorrow.

I'm reading a 6 Yellow and a 9 Blue, which leaves six more color cards, not surprisingly most of them are Greens. A really cool combo would be 1 Green and a Reverse. Corina your book "Britt-Marie was here" has both 😁. A few of Draw 2 cards were conveniently placed in the same hands of some of the hard cards.
Thanks for the update, Verónica! I am planning to pick up Britt-Marie next. I am also currently reading a 2 or 4 Red and a 9 or skip Blue if we need it or can be used for other cards.
I also have some 5s and 7s in mind.

We're done with the 7's 🙌, only one 5 and one Reverse left, I just started one for Reverse.And with Jojo's green book we'll only need a 9 Green. I do have a book for that but is on the longer side. So if someone else has one let me know.

Hi Verónica, I'm good with reading both of the Greens as I own both. I didn't know if we are already covered for the Green skip, so there was no point in me starting that one, so I needed to go for the Green 9 instead.

Right, that works out then. I didn't check the spreadsheet so I thought we needed the skip as well :) All good, I plan to start the Green 9 tonight.

To be honest, I liked it a bit more than I expected, the writing was good and the concept interesting. Definitely a bit strange and I felt that I needed more insight and more context.

Thanks, Verónica, will search some books to fit the tasks today. I will stretch out and finish my current 2 Red on the 15th as I just read a scene last night that had food involved, so it fits there as well.
Okay, So I'm going through my books and starting to list some on the Mini tab. I have a question though for the task: Read a book with one or more children on the cover, Do you think this book could count? It is a child, but you can't see the characters face.
Regarding the people on the cover tasks:I assume that drawn people count?
How about the outlines of a man and a woman? I'm thinking like this one:

"Yes, counts as people, one women or one men.
For all the books that fit in the mini please add the reason in the last column on the main April log (next to the color one). This way the books that qualify but were not logged in the mini (because the category was full with planned books) can be added later. We'll do it like the last time, the books finished first will be given priority unless the book planned is in progress.

It says "some kind of party" so I think yes.

Hi, in the mini reason column on the April sheet I will write down all the tasks the book could fit into just in case we need to switch :)
Well, turns out we do need to be specific with the reason for words in text on the April mini. We need to add word, page number or chapter in case of audiobooks. Sorry 😬.
Ok, no problem, I will go back and find the pages.
