You've got an interesting mix, Elizabeth. I've enjoyed a couple; The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe, The Hound of the Baskervilles. I think I read The Iliad back in my university days but can't remember for sure. I do enjoy the PD James books. I haven't got to the Black Tower yet.

Nnaahhh; they aren't creepy at all. The Hound of the Baskervilles is excellent. Anytime you have a thrilling mystery on the English Moors; beware.

Elizabeth, you've got a great list. I loved Life of Pi, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Iliad & The Odyssey, and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Unfortunately, On the Road wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm glad I read it. I've wanted to read Jane of Lantern Hill forever, it was a consideration for my list this year, but it didn't make it. I hope you enjoy your choices!

Thank you all for your good reading wishes! I never read C.S.Lewis' book, but recently read Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan which inspired me to read Lewis' classic story.

Wow, both The Iliad and The Odyssey, very ambitious. The Boys in the Boat is excellent, one of my favorites. Also The Hound of the Baskervilles and Red at the Bone are very enjoyable. Good luck with your list.
