Just After Midnight by Catherine Ryan Hyde 5★s and
Five Bloody Hearts by Joy Ellis 5★s

I so want to start my February book and I haven't even finished reading my Jan book 😆

Luckily I came across another “J” title. So instead of reading The Janus Stone, I’ll be reading The Jazz Files. Hopefully I’ll find Janus Stone by June 😜

You've misunderstood the challenge Carolyn. The January reads must start with J, not be published in January. And the author part if you're doing both, means the author starts with J. So your replacement book doesn't fit the challenge I'm afraid.

Surprising how many are out there when you scroll through everyone else's lists. Good work on finding and reading it though, even if you weren't fussed on it!

Well done Jazzy!

Thanks Brenda. I forgot the rules and got confused with another challenge - what an idiot! That explains why my January book was published in July 🙄
I don't have enough time to read my original choice now before the end of the month, so will substitute it with Jane and the Year Without a Summer by Stephanie Barron, which I have read this month. And promise not to muck up the challenge again!

Finished - January.

✔1. Fractured by Karin Slaughter - 3/2/22 4.5⭐
✔2. Daughter of Mine by Fiona Lowe AA 2/2/22 5⭐

Now onto my last 2 for the Summer challenge.
Helped by being home with a virus this week (not covid), not that I wanted to be unwell. But it did give me lots of reading time as I couldn't do much else.

No Christine, this one is shared with international authors too. If you look in the first post, you see the guidelines of how many Aussie authors for Easy, and how many for Hard. We only ever have one annual challenge which is solely Australian authors :)

Fancy Meeting You Here by Ali Berg AA finished 22/2/22 - 3★
