Why Fish Don't Exist by Lulu Miller - read for another book club and it brought us great discussion topics.
Me(Moth) by Amber McBride - YA verse novel finalist for National Book Award
The Lost Daughter by Elena Ferrante - soon to be movie
Ocean at the End of the Lane - Neil Gaiman -- because it is Neil Gaiman! (and is now a play)
Thanks, Nancy - these books all sound great. Checking availability on them now.
Ocean at the End of the Lane - Physical copies of the book and book on CD are available in Mid-Hudson Library System; the eaudiobook is available through Libby and Hoopla, but there are no ebooks. This may be a possible title for us.
Lost Daughter - A wait list for the physical book; the ebook is available through Hoopla. No books on CD or eaudiobooks available.
Me (Moth) - A few physical books available and there's a wait list for the ebook on Libby. No books on CD or eaudiobooks.
Why Fish Don't Exist - A few physical books available; but no books on CD, ebooks or eaudiobooks are available.
So, The Ocean at the End of the Lane would be the best possibility for us.
Do you (or anyone else) have any other title suggestions?

A great pick - thanks. There are physical copies of the book (but no book on CD) in Mid-Hudson Library System, and the ebook is available through Libby, and the eaudiobook is available through Hoopla.
So another good possibility!

Thanks, Ian - another great suggestion.
There are many physical copies of the book in Mid-Hudson Library System (but no book on CD), the ebook is available through Libby (but there isn't an eaudiobook available).
Still, it's a good possibility, for reading rather than listening.

Share your recommendations for our first book of 2022 here!
Any titles should be appropriate, as long as they aren't too new and/or might have long wait lists.
We'll add 3 - 4 titles to our upcoming poll.
Thanks! :)
