welcome! i knew more people would be looking for something like that. do you have any more books to add?
The gilded wolves is indian inspired, but its also inspired by other cultures. its set in paris, in the 1800 i think. i loved the series, but honesty the indian rep wasn't that good.
There's only one indian mc & we don't even know which part of india she is from or which language she speaks. 😒
i think i can remove it as i made the list. i'll check.

i'm doing fine! how are you?
idk why i don't friend authors that much. like i don't want them to see my reviews as i don't want them to feel bad if i didn't like it.

I'm doing alright, thank you.
Oh.

is it true that if you're visually impaired, you make up for it with other senses? (like having really good hearing)

is it true that if you're visually impaired, you make up for it with other senses? (like having really good hearing)"
Not good hearing, it's mostly to do with how the brains of people with visual impairments process sounds.
In the brains of people with visual impairments, the visual cortex is rewired to process audio and other senses.
Here's an article explaining that, by The Conversation

You turn me on like a light switch
When you're movin' your body around and around
Now, I don't wanna fight this (No)
You know how to just make me want
You turn me on like a light switch

In this world where we are constantly hearing some sort of sound, sometimes it is nice to listen to a bit of silence.
Also, the host of the podcast (Dallas Taylor) experiences the silence in a anechoic chamber (it's a room designed to isolate sound). The host also talks about how listening to infrasonic sounds and ultrasonic sounds can damage your hearing, and have other negative effects on your body.

Why aren't there more platonic love in books and everywhere else?"
so true
then again i cannot read books without romance
i've heard the ivory key by akshaya raman is more sibling-love, but idk if it has a romance subplot or not
i'll be reading it soon though, so i'll find out!
also before i let go by marieke nijkamp is also pretty romance-free

Thanks for the recommendations.

i really cannot think of books w/o romance though
how did i forget about the black flamingo by dean atta? no romance, it's more about finding yourself :)
life of pi doesnt have romance but that book is boring as hell so i would not recommend
other than that, i can really only think of old dystopian novels lol

i literally will DNF it if i find out it doesn't...
maybe i have a problem
i just want desi romance rep 🤷♀️

Oh. I'll check that book out.
Hey, that's quite philosophical and has atheist themes in it. I quite enjoyed it.
Yeah, I'm all for dystopian novels.

No no.
No romance.

it does have a side queer romance but the main focus is the sibling friendship....i think.

I'm good Ash! what about you?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ARE YOU A MIND READER OF SORTS?! Because I was looking for something just like that list, and you posted it here.
THANK YOUUUU SOOO MUCH! ☺️
Also, what's The Gilded Wolves doing in that list? is it fantasy inspired by Indian myth? someone please tell me. Not that I'll give it a go again or anything.
