I need a wee bit assistance for Ultraverse summer bonus: "Don’t Pull On My Hair!- read a book where someone has a huge overreaction to something, where at least one city block is destroyed, or with someone in pigtails on the cover."
I am reading The Shadow of the Gods. Will it fit?
If not, can anyone confirm or deny if The City & the City has city destruction in it you think would fit? Or any other good ideas?

I found "particularly stupid character" fairly easy to identify in books I was reading. Don't you want to strangle the idiots for making bad decisions, doing stupid things? It happens in many books. I went with that.

I have a question for Sludge / Down in the Sewers

I was wondering if I could put The Count of Monte Cristo since for a while, he was travelling in tunnel he dug between two cells of his prison.

I don't think that works. It's a tunnel, not any kind of sewer, and I recall it being a really brief part of the book and not on the cover. It is a fantastic book though.

Les Miserables and The False Prince have sewer scenes. (One is much shorter than the other.)

Enclave has many sewer scenes, is around 275 pages, and I enjoyed it when I read it 10 years ago.

I read Evernight by Ross Mackenzie if you’re in the mood for some great childrens book magic. A large part of the book take place in sewers.
