SOLVED. Children's book called something like "Once in a blue moon"

a children's book i read in maybe 2011-2014?
i don't remember too much but it was about two kids (i believe a boy and a girl) and they were in a really snowy field and got lost i think, they found a treehouse and it was a blue moon when they went to sleep and something magical happened due to the full moon
i've searched everywhere for this book any help would be greatly appreciated
