Ok Kylie ... it's a little bit of a stretch since we really are seeing the "results" of the makeup, but I'll take it. Next up: N

Glad to have helped :) Hope you like the series as much as I do.

LOL - that would have worked too!!
Completed the girl with the Made-up Mouth :0)
Finished J for Jethro, and can't wait to read the next in the series :)Peanut Butter Panic (Amish Candy Shop #7), by Amanda Flower, finished 8/1 ★★★★
I'm so sorry! I finished X for juXtaposition with The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles back on 7/10! Left on vacation the next day and am just getting back into the Goodreads swing of things. Excellent book and read very well by all three readers.Excellent vacation too up to the Nova Scotia area. 16 days, four provinces and three days in Bar Harbor, Maine, and too many lobster rolls and ice cream cones to count!
Glad you had a nice vacation Karen! I'm jealous ... I absolutely love Nova Scotia!! Though when I visited there a hurricane hit it and Prince Edward Island. It was quite the experience.
I can take O if you accept Observing the kitten on the cover of
, Little Town on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder.Working my way through the series this summer. I've never read any of the Little House books. I'm thoroughly enjoying them.
I just saw that - we were posting at the same time. I'll think on P unless you see anything obvious that I'm missing on the Ingalls cover.
Or Portraits on the cover of
by Candice Millard? That one will likely take me longer to finish than Little Town.

Great Barb! Sorry for the late response. We were without power all yesterday afternoon and evening. Too many people running their AC's.

I ended up reading
by Michelle Shocklee, 8/4/22, for Lady instead of the McEnany book (audio vs hardcopy, hehe).Would this book work for Under Arrest?
The woman is clearly handcuffed (behind her back) and being escorted by an agent of some kind.
If yes, next up is V.
If not, I'll look for another book. :)
Finished S for sand The Last Camel Died at Noon (Amelia Peabody #6), by Elizabeth Peters, finished 8/15/22 ★★★★
