What better way to start a new year, than with a new challenge? Since this is our first Quarterly Challenge, I'll keep it simple.
The theme for this quarter's challenge is "First" or "New".
So for this quarter, I would like to challenge you to read something new. A new to you author or genre or first book in a series or book published in 2022. You can also read a book that has the words "First" or "New" in the title, or a book where the MC is the "first" born or oldest child in the book, or even a book where the MC get a "new" family member i.e. new baby, new pet, adoption.
Standard Challenge rules apply unless stated below.
Challenge rules:
*Rereads DO NOT count for this challenge.
*Follow your own time zone. If you finish the book between the challenge dates in your time zone, it counts.
*You must be able to justify how your book fits the theme. Example: If the theme is cats, then your book can have a cat on the cover, a cat in the book, can be all about cats, etc. If you can justify it, then it will work. Let's keep this easy.
I will be keeping track and there will be a prize awarded at the end of the challenge!
I will be checking everyone's progress. If you are found to be cheating, you will be banned from this challenge AND any and all future challenges I set up. This is for fun, let's not make it so Mods have to mean and start banning members.
