I like to try a fit in a few graphic novels outside of the specific graphic novel categories, so I'll be reading The Prince and the Dressmaker
Very excited for this category. Considering His Hideous Heart (Poe retellings), Take Her Down (Julius Caesar, out in March), As I Descended (Macbeth), and Great (Great Gatsby).
I was excited to find a couple of Dracula retellings that work for this task! The Route of Ice and Salt
A Dowry of Blood
There's also a new Jane Eyre retelling coming out next year that looks interesting (although I'm usually a bit closed to YA!):
Escaping Mr. Rochester
I'm thinking of Cinderella Is Dead or Robber Girl by S.T. Gibson, which I can't seem to find on here.
Wahoo after a thorough search I discovered Gay Pride and Prejudice .P&P has been a favorite of mine for ages so I'm looking forward to this alternate interpretation.

"
Is Eden Appiah-Kubi queer?
"Is Eden Appiah-Kubi queer?

There is no requirement that this be ownvoices

The Route of Ice and Salt
I'm so glad this exists! A retelling of one of the best parts of Dracula. It will be my pick!

I'm planning to read Legendborn. It's a retelling of King Arthur and it's in this list by Book Riot: https://bookriot.com/queer-retellings/
I read The Gap of Time by Jeanette Winterson, a retelling of Shakespeare's "Winter's Tale", written for the Hogarth Press Shakespeare Project.
Ah, that feeling when you realize a book you read for fun turns out to fit a category you were struggling with!! I was so into fairy tale retellings, Austen retellings, etc. years ago when they first became a big thing, and I devoured so many that I think I burned out. I was not looking forward to figuring something out for this prompt. But I just finished The Loophole, a YA debut novel about a queer Muslim-American teen on an epic journey. It is a retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice (and possibly another underworld myth that I am not familiar with, I haven't been able to verify).
