Thank you so much Rainbow!!!! It wasn’t the series you suggested but it was by that publisher! It’s in their Orca Soundings line. Called “Charmed” written by Carrie Mac. Oh my god I’m so excited!! Thank you again!!!
What I remember about the series:
-Paperback
-over a dozen books
-all by different authors (so more like a collection?)
-the spines of the books were always one color (like orange or lime something) but the cover was usually an image
-the books were usually under 200 pages
-one book involves a tornado/storm
-one book is about a runaway getting pimped out
What I remember about a specific book in the series:
-teenage girl is dating an older guy
-she hates her home life and the guy convinces her to run away together
-she gets to his house to run away and he somehow convinces her to stay with him at his house instead of running away together
-he ends up like keeping her prisoner there and pimping her out to all kinds of men
-she is like "i cant believe i was gullible. i love my family. i wonder if people are worried about me. i have to get out of here and survive this.
-she finds her chance and ends up getting away through like a window or something
-the book might've been named something like Traffic (it is not the true story of a woman who was trafficked by her bf in Italy. I already tried looking the book up and Traffick and Trafficked keep appearing. it is neither of these)
