Yeah! Another fan of these characters. I really enjoyed them - more than characters in the other series set in this world. There is just something about these ones that drew me in and kept me hooked.

I have to get a copy. I looked in Abe Books but there wasn't one I could find. I'll check locally. I've ordered Shadow and Bone from that trilogy.

I hope the other books were as good, I've ordered Shadow and Bone.

〰️Beth〰️ (x1f4a0bethx1f4a0) | 470 comments Glad to see so many great reviews for Crows. I have had the duo set for ages and need to read it. Hope you enjoy Divergent. I read it years ago, the whole series in about a week. I remember liking it and passing the books on to a neighbor to read. Unfortunately I can no longer remember why I liked it, but I remember they were fast reads. Hopefully your review will jog my memory.

Probably not. At least 2 1/2 books are out. I need to get back to the series; because I only read book one, hoping the 3rd would come it. When it didn't, I refused to read book 2.

Yeah, that's what I've read online so I guess the series will remain on my tbr until then.

This is one of the series everybody loves, and I'm afraid to try...fantasy, young adult, not exactly my genres...but I think someday I will get the courage.

I hope if you do that you enjoy it. It's a bit gritty to be YA in my opinion but it's not unique in that regard. Excellent adventure and gang story.

Definitely give it a try. I think it's YA because they are truly younger adults. It is really good

It was a 4 star read for me, too, Bill, and also the second in the series- the third only 3. I'm not sure if that's all there was or I switched genres around the time.

My review of The Peripheral by William Gibson. It was a DNF for me unfortunately. But don't let that stop you from trying it, please. NR

Well done, I'm the same due to a DNF - slightly less disappointed than you as I didn't want to read one of them after all! :)

I had some mixed feelings about it too, Bill and ended up giving in 3 stars. I can't remember now if I continued the series or not.

I probably could have finished it... I've found myself giving up on more books this year than I ever have before.
