I read the book sometime this year. it had to be published in the last 10ish years due to modern references. book starts off where she shows up on his property ( I cant remember why). and he is really mean to her and says she can only live with him if she lives on a shed near his house. I think her living with his has something to do with her hiding from an Ex or family. anyways, he has a live in maid that helps her and gives her clothes and offers to buy her things. there are sceices in the book where he reviews thing to her *spoilers*..... His moms rose garden, I think she cant swim, the hedge maze his dad would leave him in at night. she also does things like knock over a priceless heirloom from his father and they slide down the banister. that is all I can remember. it has a similar vibe to dear enemy by Kristen Callihan
