DECEMBER '21 SERIAL READER CHALLENGE

THE POWER OF LIFE - The ability to energize and animate.



TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DECEMBER CHALLENGE:

♦Pick five series that you want to read.

♦It can be a new or an on-going series.

♦Post the name of the series and the covers of at least two books that you have not read.

♦There must be at least two unread books in the series. No re-reads allowed.

♦You may re-post a series chosen before as long as there are at least two unread books.

♦Post series now through November 20th.

♦Pairs will be posted on November 21st.

♦Select a series for your partner between November 21st and 24th...sooner is better

♦Next month, read two (or more) books from the series selected for you.

When I first started doing this I included that series every month and no one ever picked it for me. Got to the point I would include it to increase my odds when I really wanted another series to get picked for me. 2 years in someone finally picked that one for me.

I finished the next in the Sarah Booth Delaney series - Buried Bones earlier this month. It is well-written and the mystery turned out to be good, though it dragged a bit with all the possible suspects.

The MC is a true Southern belle - She stopped in the midst of the murder investigation to prep black-eyed peas for New Year's Day! 😅 (It's New Year's and mine are soaking as I write this.)

and will start the second today. These books are great, but much longer and denser than the typical modern cozy.
