Ananda PD Eddie is an amusement park worker who has spent most of his life repairing and maintaining rides. At the age of 83, Eddie dies in an accident as he saves a little girl from a wrecked rides. When Eddie woke up, he was already in the afterlife and there Eddie met 5 people, one of them is someone he loves and the rest he doesn't know. Without realizing it, the 5 people he met had changed the course of Eddie's life.


16-Dito Afrizal Eddie is the protagonist of The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Albom never specifies Eddie's last name, but everyone on Ruby Pier calls him "Eddie Maintenance" because that is what is says on his name-tag. The novel begins on the day Eddie dies. At 83, he is a widower with a limp who has been working at Ruby Pier for most of his adult life. Alone and bitter, Eddie sees his life as worthless. That day, however, he dies trying to save a child from a falling roller coaster car during a freak accident at the park. The novel follows Eddie into Heaven as he sheds all of his earthly burdens and finally learns how much his life actually meant through encounters with 5 specific individuals who died before him.

Radyana Arinda Eddie is such a good man, he is really care to the others like in this novel, even though he doesn't know who is that little girl, but he still saves that girl. What a wonderful man


Indra Yudistira In terms of characterization, the writer considers that Eddie's character is very interesting because his story can be used as a lesson for readers who think they have a boring life.

Alfinda Salsa Eddie worked at amusement parks most of his life, repairing and maintaining various rides. The years passed, and Eddie felt trapped in a job he felt was meaningless. His days were just routine work, loneliness, and regret.
