An elementary school teacher read my class a picture book around 2004-2006. The story took place in a town where no one knew how to read, but books were used to build buildings, furniture, bridges, etc. A young boy visits his grandma and asks "what's reading." He shows the grandma around the town and how the books are used but not read. The grandma tell him "take me home, I've seen enough." The grandma teaches the boy and other people in the town how to read and they stop using the books to build things. Anyone know the title? Thanks!
