Ill cover the content in a spoiler and I apologise if I offend anyone from my choices to describe the book but I read it around 2017 in school so I don't remember it 100% (view spoiler)[ The book covers racism with white people being the target of it, there are two families a white family and a black family and Im rather sure the parents in the white family had served the black family. The children of the two families ( their youngest ) had become friends and played with each other. The black girl had helped the boy get into school by helping him study. They later fell in love and would secretly see each other with the boy sneaking over af night. The white boy had two siblings, an elder brother and a sister who was mentally ill and later killed herself. Later on one of his parents was executed for being a terrorist. The boy followed his brother and joined a terrorist cell where he then started to commit crime. I’m rather sure its a series of books. (hide spoiler)] Thats all I can remember of the book and I know the way I worded it sounds bad but thats majority of the plot.
