short novel with one word title son & father concern about memory loss

My patron has asked me to find the title of a SHORT novel with a ONE word title. It's about a son who is concerned that his Irish father might have dementia. He wants his dad to go to a doctor about it. The father isn't interested in seeing a doctor initially then relents and goes. Apparently, he plays a trick on the doctor. My patron tells me it has a light hearted quality to it even though it deals with a serious subject. She read it within the past few years. Looking forward to your responses. I didn't have any luck.
