SOLVED. NA Fantasy series involving multiple courts/kingdoms, female lead who is caught over, and a dark prince who turns out to be the hero. [s]

I read this book series around 2017-2018 and only vaguely remember the plot but I remember I really enjoyed the book. It’s a new adult fantasy with multiple kingdoms or courts (light vs dark sort of thing). In the fist book I believe the heroine helps break a curse on that had been placed on the main male character. They fall in love by the end of the first book but then in the second book she is taken by a prince/king of the dark court/ kingdom. Through some agreement he forces her to spend one week a month with him and eventually she sees that she and the dark prince are meant to be together. The main character from the first book fights to get her back but shows he is more in love with the idea or her than actually loving her. Any ideas would be appreciated.
