Fazila (fazilareads) | 338 comments @Nirkatze @Nyssa @Soo Agree with your observations as well. Ooh! Godhood ! Could be a possible theory given how they have roles similar to those of the angels. I do want to see Lindon and his sister work together as well. His family did seem to be a supportive group and was not being harsh or cruel to him. Which is something that could have easily happened under the circumstances.

Iain, we're getting more people into Threadbare and Wandering Inn. Hi-5~

My LitRPG spread plan is working! *evil cackle* lol

Soo (silverlyn) | 6898 comments Miche, you can come chat about Threadbare at Vagabond. I did a re-read and Narilka was re-reading it too. There's a new sequel trilogy for it coming out. I'm going to wait until #3 of that one has a release date & start reading it.

Ohhh, thanks for letting me know. I will jump in there!

Nyssa | 1651 comments Is it too early to start book #2?

message 207: by Soo (new) - rated it 4 stars

Soo (silverlyn) | 6898 comments Rob has it planned out to be 1 book per month. For team challenge, the BR bonus only counts if you read it 1 week before the start date or start within 2 weeks of start date.

So, you can start now. I think the threads are up for the books?

I generally don't worry about the points and just read. XD

message 208: by Nyssa (new) - rated it 4 stars

Nyssa | 1651 comments Oh, I'm not doing any type of point system. I just want to participate in the buddy read itself.
Thanks. :)

TGR is a great narrator... I tend to use my credits on newer books and get older books elswhere... either paying for Whispersync, or Hoopla/etc...

If you're going the ebook route, i think all the Threadbare books are on Royal Road... started as a webstory before publication... not sure if the Royal Road version 100% matches the published version on Amazon/Audible, but it's free... we don't really recommend the new story arc, tho (books 4-6 being written now)... we haven't heard good things about it :(

In between, there's a spinoff series, the Small Medium: At Large / Well Done / Big Trouble trilogy...

Makes sense, in a LitRPG/Cultivation thread... so hard to get people to try the books out-of-the-blue... but when already interested in the genre, it's easier...

Team Reading competition is a group thing that runs January to October... causes some trends in BRs/Challenges that don't matter otherwise :D

Even if you joined the competition, enjoyment is more important than point, generally :D

It was :) Then I immediately turned around and listened to them again with my husband because they are just that good :D

Nyssa | 1651 comments What happened to the Discussion thread for Wintersteel?
I do not see it. I even checked the "View Activity" link for the group. This thread came up but its thread did not.
