london ❥ | 2 comments OK so there’s this kid who plays baseball I’m pretty sure he moved in with his aunt and uncle and when he gets there there’s doors in the wall? He has to peel off all the drywall to get to them and he covers it up with posters so no one sees. I think you might have to have a key to go to the doors or something like that there could possibly be a book that explains all the rooms. I also have a feeling he may have lost his sister or someone in one of them. And I think in one of them he is in like a ball room with dead people? That part could be totally made up anyways thank you please help! :)

London, around what year did you read this book?

Please note you must add genre (e.g., YA fantasy?) and plot details to the header/ topic title "I need help...". Just copy from what you've already written in the first comment. Requests with vague headers are closed because this group is so large.

I removed the ALL CAPS from the header. (It looks like shouting.)

I added some details to the header/ topic title. Feel free to edit it.

Who and where are his parents? What is the story's time period and location?

Is this a YA fantasy or mystery (for teens)?

Shanna's suggestion of 100 Cupboards by N.D. Wilson sounds like your book.

Google Books preview:
https://books.google.com/books?id=g_1... There are different cover images.

Quotes from the book:
- But baseball was as magical to him as a green, mossy mountain covered in ancient trees.
- He was simply a twelve-year-old boy on a slow bus from Boston, waiting to meet an aunt and uncle he had not seen since the age of four. He was not looking forward to reuniting with Aunt Dotty and Uncle Frank.
- He turned on his light and stood back to examine the wall of cupboard doors. Ninety-nine doors of all shapes and sizes looked back at him. His eyes were first drawn to the center, where the door of the two compass knobs ruled the wall...
