Looking for a book series that I read in the late 90s or early 00s about a boy, first-person POV, who was just trying to get through life but things always ended up in extremely silly sitcom style shenanigans. The covers always featured him with a giant caricature-style face in the middle of whatever the craziest thing in the book was. His dad might have been a pastor, but at any rate the story always related back to a Christian moral or message at some point. He had a neurotic little sister who completely freaked out when different foods on her plate touched. The series had at least 8 were relatively short books, maybe as many as 18. One of the early ones was about summer camp, there's definitely one where the cover shows him on a rollercoaster, and the one I remember the most clearly involved him getting stuck in a hot air balloon, fainting, and waking up to find that they were so high up in the atmosphere that the earth looked like they were seeing it from outer space.
