Read somewhere between 2008 to 2014, which I believe it was a new release at the time.
It was a historical setting, but also likely fantastical. Main memory is that the girl's dreams were significant. Was recommended by a school librarian within the years mentioned above. The title said something about dreams, and it may have lead into a series. The cover had pinky and red tones, artsy depiction of people.
