2 -- Featuring A Library Or Bookstore
The Library Book This one was amazing. I think this is the first time a non-fiction book has made me cry. Libraries are just amazing! The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry Beautiful book.
Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore Super fun and fast paced.
The Library Book was an excellent audio book. The Midnight Library was good too, but I'm probably going to read The Last Chance Library
I've already read this in 2021, but I'd highly recommend The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams for this one. The library plays a huge role in the book, and it's just full of love for books. :)I'm probably going to read A Margin for Murder by Lauren Elliott for this one, although any book in this cozy mystery series would work.
Lost and Found BookshopMidnight Library
Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek
The Library Book
The Giver of Stars
The Bookish Life of Nina Hill (every book nerds memoir)
Highly recommend all of the above
I’m actually going to go YA with this one. Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein
I’m going with Mr Penumbra’s 24-hour Bookstore for this but I’d like to recommend The Book of Form and Emptiness by Ruth Ozeki for this one. One of my favourites last year.
I regret I didn't follow your advice to read The Library Book... I read Le Mystère Henri Pick, which is also about the library, but it really sucks. Go read the previous one tomorrow!
I’m reading The Library of Lost and Found for this prompt. The Bookshop of Yesterdays or Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek would both be good. I read those for the 2021 challenge though.

The Bookish Life is SOOOOOOOOOOOO good.
I'm reading The Paris Library for this prompt
I finished this book for for this category. The protagonist of the plot in the present time is librarian and some scenes take place at the local library. The Book of Speculation
Just finished The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie. It was my first novel by her abs it was so good, will be including more of her works into the other prompts
Just finished listening to “The Bookish Life of Nina Hill” by Abbi Waxman. I don’t know if it counts for this category but it’s all about the love of books so I’m using it.
84, Charing Cross Road - used to haunt the bookshops along that road when I was a student in the 80s!
Alyssa wrote: "The Last Bookshop in London. I highly recommend it!!"I just finished this book a few days ago. I agree, it was amazing!
I have a couple I could use for this one, but I think I will be using "The Book Woman's Daughter" by Kim Michelle Richardson.
I’ve just finished The Stationery Shop of Tehran by Marjan Kamali. The stationery shop of the tile also sells books.
I have read The Sentence for this one, but a back-up, in case I need to shuffle, is The Night of Many Endings.
Saw The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab on the Listopia. I've got this in audiobook form so sure why not!
For this PROMPT I read Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin SloanNot only is the word "BOOKSTORE" in the title...over half the book takes place in a "BOOKSTORE". Absolutely amazing read and I am looking forward to reading the PRE-QUEL - Ajax Penumbra 1969
Happy Reading

What’s as good as visiting a library or a bookstore for ourselves? Reading about them, of course! This prompt is all about libraries and bookstores. Examples could include: a book where the main character is a librarian or sells books, a memoir by a librarian, a non-fiction book about the Library of Alexandria, a children’s story about the library, etc. Anything library or bookstore related works for this prompt!
