I read The Book Thief. I also used it for the March Mini-Challenge: a book with a circle on the cover.
I am reading The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald. A cute story of a woman from Sweden who visits a small town, Broken Wheel, and how it effects her life. Nothing spectacular but a fun read.
I’m also reading the Storied Life of A.J.Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. I’m almost done and will be sad as it’s such an enjoyable book. I love the characters and setting which is on an island in a bookstore. Despite characters having experienced significant losses, the book emanates optimism and renewal. It could also be used under the prompt about someone getting a second chance. In this case, several characters live life anew.
I have finished Reading Quirks: Weird Things that Bookish Nerds Do! by The Wild Detectives. It centers around bookish stuff, it's pretty fun!
The Cat Who Saved BooksI read the Cat Who Saved Books by Sōsuke Natsukawa,
The book shop of the main characters is a central place to all happenings. The book was shorter than expected, but sweet.
I read

The Woman in the LibraryI grabbed this book on a whim at a bookstore and I gave it 4.5 stars. A great mystery!
Based on a comment here, I tried out "Reading Quirks: Weird Things that Bookish Nerds Do," for this prompt. Not as good as I thought it might be, but a quick read.

Not as great as I imagined but some were fun.
An Unnecessary Woman by Rabih Alameddine is a quiet, but beautifully written story about an elderly woman living in Beirut, ensconced with her beloved books. ⭐⭐⭐ here is my review
The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village by Joanna Nell is a quirky tale of aging disgracefully. The only bright spot in 79 year old Peggy’s beige life is watching eligible widower Brian walk past in the mornings until her glamorous mad-cap childhood friend Angie makes an appearance and turns more than just Peggy’s wardrobe upside-down. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review.
