At the moment I'm reading a book about pigeons and their relationship with humankind. I'm actually thinking about starting a small ornithology reading challenge because I've got three more books with that theme lined up - one about crows and one about feathers.
I've also just begun reading Flowers for Algernon. I'll try to at least read those, Neverwhere and The City of Brass.
I would also like to continue with the Expanse and probably (if I have enough time) the Dagger and the Coin series.

I've always adored radio dramas and while I was down with a broken ankle I discovered that the podcast world that I had been ignoring had been embracing that old art form. And I have been marathoning a few shows and have a significant backlog to work my way through. And I'm loving every second of it.
I also just finished the second Audible series of The Sandman. I am so impressed. Its so faithful to the comics. I swear I can see some of the panels in my head and I haven't read them for like a decade.
There is one guarantee. On Sun, Oct 31st, I will read Ghosts and Goblins like I do every year.
Just finished Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko. A great YA fantasy with good world building and interesting characters. It's a duology, starting the second book now.

In SFF, I'm currently reading Piranesi, Rosemary and Rue, How the Multiverse Got Its Revenge, The Poppy War, We Have Always Been Here, and Rhythm of War. In non-fiction, I'm listening to Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed.
As you can tell, I really need to sit down and finish a few things this month!
I finished The Long War, 8/10. I will put some comments in our discussion about the first book in the series, The Long Earth. I do plan to continue to series at some point.
Next up (not necessarily in this order) I have Age of Legend by Michael J. Sullivan for a different Goodreads group, The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty for our upcoming series read, Bright Sword of Ireland by Juilene Osborne-McKnight, and Red Mist by Patricia Cornwell. We are going to be traveling (*gasp*) and I hope to have plenty of reading time in airports and on airplanes.

So, I finished Bright Sword of Ireland, 8/10, Red Mist, also 8/10, and Age of Legend, 8/10.
I am nearly finished with The City of Brass and, after a somewhat confusing start, and enjoying it quite a bit.

I absolutely love the October Daye series - you are in for a treat if you keep going :). (the Luidaeg is one of my favorite fictional characters ever!)
I've been in a bit of a reading rut the past few weeks, but I just picked up Day Zero from the library so I'll probably start that tonight for our November discussion.

I'm not much of an urban fantasy fan and this one caught me from the beginning. Just my opinion, but I felt it was a stronger opening book than Storm Front, which I did enjoy. I already told my sister who recommended them to me to just get me the next couple for Christmas.
My last book for October is Jack the Bodiless by Julian May, 10/10. What a unique book—a survival story (really, two of them—Rogi and Teresa in the wilderness and then Jack after his birth), but also the stories of the seeds of rebellion, the diabolical plots of the murderous Hydra and Fury, and the politics of bringing the human of Earth into the Galactic Milieu. Can’t wait to dive into the next book (Diamond Mask) sometime next month!
But next up for me is Age of Death by Michael J. Sullivan.

It took me a while to actually pick up Day Zero but when I did, I read it in two days. Looking forward to the group discussion!
