I’m not very close with my family and friends, so I don’t tell them that much. I mean I do tell things to my friends that I obviously don’t say to my family, but honestly, I don’t think they would understand if I tell them about my mental health or smth…

Yesterday I was talking to some friends and I don’t really remember what happened, but the topic of depression came up, and one of my friends was like “depression?” “Yeah, like you could have depression” like someone our age couldn’t have depression. (she wasn’t talking to me, and I know she didn’t meant it in any mean way, but that’s why I don’t think they would understand me.)

Yes! This is so true! My friend is a very happy person and I really admire her for that, but she can be judgy too. And I don't think she really gets it...

I try to be happy and sunny but my friends will say tell you I'm dark and emo.
I'm both, I am happy to other people but I'm only happy to them because I'm not sure they are so I try to make them happy.

I thhink most people here are people who don't have the same habits and needs as mine. So I get what you're saying. But my only bsf is a person who thinks like me, has very similar interests and gossips like me and even talks like me sometimes so I guess me and her are very compatible?

same which is frustrating sometimes because I could spend a whole day hanging out with friends and I could have a great time but then I still somehow find a way to feel lonely? all the excitement and attachment that I see my friends feel when they meet new people or when they're with people just doesn't ever happen with me

I don't believe in instant stuff either but that's not how I meant it. you know how you catch a vibe from people when you first start talking to them? like depending on their attitude or if they're really passionate about something and excitedly share it with people that they meet?
