So basically I sometimes feel like I want hugs, right?
So today, as I could hug a 4 year old, I asked him for a hug.
And I realised, I hate being hugged. I like the idea of giving someone a hug. Or someone giving me a hug. But I don't like to hug. But I like the idea of it. And sometimes when I ask my mom for hugs and she gives it to me, I feel hella horrible and disgusted. What the hell is wrong with me?
Oh, no! Don’t think that! There’s nothing wrong with that! I’m not a big fan of hugs either…I like the idea too, but when someone hugs me I feel so uncomfortable :/
I feel the same too sometimesI love the idea of being touched but when someone actually touches me I just don't like it
How can I express my love for someone without giving hugs?I never had this problem before the pandemic
I like hugs that don’t mean anything better, like to say “hello” but when it actually means something, I fell uncomfortable :(

I hate it and feel disgusted
I kept thinking back to that a LOT
Kyra, there are so many ways to express love without hugs. And just remember that if someone thinks you don’t love them for the single fact that you don’t like hugs, then they are not worth it.

And in my family, we hug and kiss each side of the face as a greeting
How on earth will I do that from now on?

Honestly I believe you don't HAVE to EXPRESS it. If it's there it'll just how through your actions

But nothing can top a good bear hug, yfeel me?
Yeah…I guess. I really don’t know what to tell you. I mean maybe you could talk to someone in your family about it, so they don’t pressure you to hug? But I know that sometimes it isn’t that easy…

Yeah... I'll have to think over this a little
My papa and mama have a habit of jumping to conclusions

Yeah, I understand ;) Mine jump to conclusions too...
Once I was reading a book with queer characters and my dad asked if I had anything to say to him. He didn't explicitly asked me if I was gay, but I know my dad well enough to know what he meant.
and although he didn't asked it in any homophobic way or anything, it still hurt a little that maybe he thought I can't read an lgbtq book without being gay.
