i have to do an artmaking assessment this term and i am going to die
it's on myths you had to write your own or take a unique turn on an existing one
the writing part was fun, i rewrote the myth of the abduction of persephone from demeter's perspective in poetic form, but i have to draw something to it and i am going to die

To be honest talent comes with an effort, it doesn't pour out from your hand and automatically you're good at it. I studied art and took some time practicing, I just do art because I wanna illustrate a lot of scenes from books

you can paint flowers and spring related stuff using watercolors symbolizing Persephone and then you can show dead/wilted flowers portraying Persephone's state after Hades captured her

Oh no,,, do u perhaps take chinese course? You can study independently so that you could learn in your own pace instead of taking a course/class

except when i add too much water and my entire painting gets ruined

i can NOT use charcoal without ruining everything that's like 4 feet near me
ahh yes even i love pencil shading, it's so much easier to add depth to the sketch with them
