**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
Please note that a rating is now required in your completion posts! A small review is also welcome. 😊
I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
If I have your team name wrong or if you wish to change it, just let me know!

Laks and Michaele can you post the link to your read shelf and any changes to your favorite book. And Liz I need all the information listed in message 5. Can some go through the task list and post every task that needs a decision by the team. Note M/M romance is considered a subgenre in this challenge.
If someone other than me wants to be team leader, I am fine with that. Or I am also fine with being the team leader. Whoever is the team leader should reserve post for tracking the tasks for easier reporting.
Hello fellow dashers, I am Roger, 52 years old and have MS. Historical is my least favorite genre and won't read books with tentacle sex. Fantasy, paranormal (except zombies), and science fiction are my favorite genre. If you want to know anything else ask.

Hi I'm Liz 32 years young and from Germany. Its my first time on The Amazing Race Team Challenge but i heard it's so much fun so let's bring it on also i'm kind of sad that the scavenger hunt for this years ends already.I'm not the most history book reader too but have no problem to read the one or the other for a challenge. I probably would say my least favorite sub-genre is ABDL
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "If someone other than me wants to be team leader, I am fine with that. Or I am also fine with being the team leader. I am Laks, (female/she) from India. I am married with a seven yr old girl, busy with work as a doctor and home schooling my kid due to this Covid crises. I love historicals 😀 and murder mysteries. I dont have any aversion to a particular genre, shall read anything as per need. This is my 3rd time playing Amazing race and I am looking forward to a great time!!

And thanks for being our leader!
Hi all!I'm Michaele (pronounced like Michael) she/her. I live in Utah (so US mountain standard time) with my dog Rusty.
I am currently working 3 jobs and one of them will be full-time starting Monday. I am really lucky that I can listen to audio books at 2 of my jobs so I still get to read a lot of books. Though lately I'm having a harder time getting on Goodreads, but I should be able to check in a few times most days.
I read almost exclusively mm contemporary books. I agree with Roger - I really don't like historical romance (I think it's because I am an historian). That said I am pretty willing to read whatever to complete a challenge, except I can't go too dark, no horror and nothing too depressing.

i would like to read different authors for the different tasks it makes it more fun and you have a variability in your reading material
We all three have 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. So we need to decide which other years we go to get six consectutive years.
For 1 I went with Charlie cochet, because I need to read her new release of Gone But Not Forgotten for scavenger hunt and it works better if it fits more than 1 challenge.
Teams 1, 2, 5, 6, 12, 13 are for sure mm teams and maybe the team with aliciaj while there are people who read mm on that team they are primarily mf team.
Ok for hometown Kat ruled state if in USA and country if out of USA so Laks India, Liz Germany, Michaele Utah, Roger Wisconsin.
Ok for adding birth years for minimum page count we have 68, 76, 82,89 171+144 = 315 minimum pages. Task 91
