okay I'm last, and I'm done :)Dang, I wish I'd picked that one Janine, I'm doing Hell Cop for my demon book and it's pretty lame.
I'll paste our completion post now.
Janeylou wrote: "Updated mine also..absolutely loved Demons Do It Better..couldnt put it down"LOVE this whole series. A lot of people don't like book 2 (I still did), but if for some reason you don't, don't give up because 3 and 4 are amazing

Review: I forgot how angsty Robbie's book was. Just so much pain, but watching the pack come together and Robbie and Kelly find love (again) was sweet and perfect.

Review: I thought I remembered this book causing less feelings than the others, but boy was I wrong. I think I cried for 45 minutes straight. A beautiful, if at times heartbreaking ending to this absolutely phenomenal series
So with those two everyone can just read the minimum 150 pages and we're over lol. Might take me a little longer to finish.

I put the first one on my tbr shelf - I'm not a huge fan of this genre (excluding Jordan Castillo Price, of course), so it's good to have something for the next time I need it.
Amanda wrote: "So with those two everyone can just read the minimum 150 pages and we're over lol. Might take me a little longer to finish."oh my gosh - you are a glutton for punishment! Those have been on my shelf for soooo long, I've been waiting for the right time to listen to them.

Review: Brush with Catastrophe has a good story, I just didn't love the characters as much as in the first book. Next time I need a book shelved magic, I'll still be looking to read Cataclysmic Shift.
Nice work by Kirt Graves with all those miaows.

Finally got a task that works with dailies , but may need to shuffle them round to get this one read earlier

Review:
Sadly not quite as good as the previous book of this series. I permanently thought: Come on, Sammy, you have to see what a bad creature Lucifer is!
But I still enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading book 3 when I need it for a challenge.
Janeylou wrote: "Laura crumpets says shes got another team challenge planned for new year ..but wont give any details yet"I think around the new year is when Uno starts, or at least the sign ups are. Is anyone planning on doing that one? I'd love to be on a team with some MM readers this year as it makes those pesky reverse cards easier
I've never done the Uno challenge - but I did love playing it when I was younger, totally addictive. Is it a complicated challenge Amanda?
Trio wrote: "I've never done the Uno challenge - but I did love playing it when I was younger, totally addictive. Is it a complicated challenge Amanda?"
Difficult to explain, but I found it easy to play once it got going. I think the best part is when you sign up you say how many books you estimate you read a month, and then you're placed which fills in the rest of the numbers so you really are on the hook for just that many.
Each month your team gets a hand of uno cards and as a team you have to read for each one that has a corresponding thing. The one I remember most for some reason is that 5 is I so if there's a five someone on the team has to read a book that either: Has an I in the title, author name, character name, location name in book or 5th in series (it also doesn't have to be main characters or the only setting). Then you get color cards so if you had a blue 5 you'd have to read a blue book that also has one of those above. Like I said, difficult to explain, but if you have a good captain really easy to play and just slot in books that fit that you were gonna read anyway.
There's also mini challenges each month that give you some variety. It's easy and fun and because it's really luck of the draw which hands you get there's not a lot of pressure for winning as the hand you get might make so you're gonna win no matter what, or might make it so even if you read everything you'll place more middle. We got third last year (I think there are like 20 teams, it's a huge challenge), even though we completed everything, so again not a lot of pressure
I think these also might help to understand:My internal team tracking spreadsheet from last year: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
and the actual team tracking spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
I also put myself down for 70 books a month which did NOT allow for reading slumps so will not be doing that again LOL
UNO is so good , but if definitely helos if other mm readers in your team ...last time you could ask to be on a team with others , but it all depends what you monthly books aare Last year myself , diane and Emmeline were on same tem saying we read 20 bks a month( and we were the 3 that read most ) , but Em dropped out half way so me and diane had to step up our game but helped that we could work out together whT worked for the tasks
Yeah, I think I had too many books to get put on your team because I did try I think lol. Is Emmeline okay? I used to see her around a lot and now I don't.

Shes fine now , she had a few personal problems and split up with BF ..but she got a new job and BF and seems to be doing ok

The second Aloysius Tales was okay - not a good as the first one, but that's just because I didn't love the characters as much.
I've changed my post to completion. I'm sooooo far behind with reading and reviews, I'm a little panicked, so I've tucked into bed to practice some of my speed reading skills. Wish me luck!
BTW, I'm reading Double Trouble and it's excellent!

Ive seen this Trio and looks really good
Well the fact that BE wrote it makes it an auto read ππ..and ive got back into my shifters lately
the problem with picking up one of her books, is that I have a really hard time putting it back down again!
I know you're stressed about some arcs so I'm hoping its just the team choice subgenre one so we can use MM Romance!
Here is your next task!Task 10 - 50. Read 6 books set in the same location, teams decide the location.
As a team select a location and read 6 books set in the selected location. If you choose a big city it is easy enough, but you are free to use the state if within the US or the country if outside the US. Remember to let me know how you know your book qualifies, be it title, precis, book details, tags or lists - I need to know where to look to confirm your books. Please include any necessary links or other information in your completion posts.
So I looked and it looks like we have Florida for this one. Does anyone have any florida books planned? If not, can I suggest either New York or England as I have quite a few of those I can read lol.
Janeylou wrote: "We've got Florida down , but im happy to change to fit Trios Arcs"Oooh that's a good idea! Trio, let us know what helps you the most
oh you guys are too nice!ugh I've got Maine, the Alps, Amsterdam, and I think California (my PtP book is set in California too)
the Barbara Elsborg looks like a total fantasty thing so that won't help us.
I knocked out three this weekend so I feel a lot better - now it's the writing of the reviews...
Double Trouble was spectacular! Highly recommend!
Writing reviews is SO hard. I had an author recently comment on my review which wasn't exactly the highest praise so I was so worried he was going to hate it but he actually said he loved it! I was shocked, California is pretty easy I think to find books in. (I'm assuming the Maine is KC Wells? lol).
yes - I'm a beta reader for her, and she recently finished Dylan's Dilemma and I was only giving it 4 stars.I didn't give her enough feedback during the reading bc of my daughter's operation and husband's hospitalization. I promised her I'd re-read it now that it's finished and tell her why 4 and not 5 stars.
Honestly she made so many additions along the way, and she puts them all in a group IM... long story short, it can be confusing. So I never read the final draft.
Let's do California - I've picked The Book Of Daniel for PtP.As long as it's good with you all :)
I'll also start The Life Revamp tonight, but I'm sure someone else can do two books before I can finish that one.
Trio..Murder in Pastel is set in California..so shall i read that I know you had said you was going to re read it.
I need to finish my current book first though
Completion Post Task 10 - 50. Read 6 books set in the same location, teams decide the location.

It is always a pleasure to come back to this series! It's just cute and entertaining and Spencer and Andrew are perfect together! βπ₯°
No clue if the Aussie accent is right done but I enjoyed Joel Leslie's narration.
