Review: This had all the hallmarks of a great Lucy story and more! It was funny, sweet, and extremely steamy. Enemies to lovers is so hit or miss for me, as I either don't believe the "enemies" part, or I don't believe the turn to more, but both here worked so perfectly. Greyson definitely carried a grudge against Ellison and everything he represented, and it was more of a slow burn than Lucy usually delivers as they made there way from enemies to so much more. Wonderful characters, snarky banter, and a perfect second chance story. Lucy has done it again.

This was a re read and gave a lower score the second time around , probably due in part to the fact that i knew about the little twist at the end 😄😄...but i didnt like the MCs as much either

Review:
A really captivating story that never slowed down. The MCs Niall and Mat are both interesting and especially Niall is full of hurt and raw emotions. I'm really glad that this series is completed and I'm going to read the next book right away.
Finished my book and updated my post. I'm going to start reading a second one tonight but I won't have much reading time tomorrow so it'll be late Monday till I'll be finished. Should I add it or will you guys have enough books before?
I'll only get through the 2 I have planned already since I have some arcs to read so I say do it, especially since late your Monday is early Monday for me, but I don't know what Trio/Janine have planned

C.W. Gray is super creative with their descriptions of all the different species.

Review: I love me a good Master/slave romance, and Laura Lascarso knocked it out of the park with this one! Most notably is Daniel Carter's performance. Right now I'm refusing to believe this is the DC I know who narrated the James Lear mysteries... more detective work is needed here.

@Trio..your bk #1.was.published under a different name before your edition so i think you need to go for that for page count but you can use your edition for the naked chest

As a team select a color, then read 6 books with covers that are primarily the selected color. Books selected need to be clearly and obviously the selected color! You can use any edition’s cover to qualify. Please include the chosen color and the qualifying cover in your completion posts.
Initially id put mm grey covers
In the list but ive read all my grey ones for this month , so if anyone wants to change , feel free..im off out now so will check in later
So I only have book planned that works for gray. If we choose that I could do one but if we did a different color (Specifically Black or Blue) I could do 2 this time around

I scrolled through some other teams' posts and it looks like they vary on how much, what percent, of the color.Like at least 40 percent?
If we choose Black, I can do Memories of the Heart, takes place in NYC and is 60 percent black per tineye.

Review: What a great debut! I've had this one on my TBR since it was released, but for some reason I kept putting it off. I'm so glad a challenged pushed me to read it because I throughly enjoyed it. Well written, sweet, and a good level of steam

Review: It's a little hypocritical of me to like this as much as I did since I recently read a book with a similar type of age gap that made me highly uncomfortable, but it just didn't here. This was full of steam, was very sweet, and since I've read all of EM Lindsey's Cherry Creek series, it was full of characters I already loved.

Perfect last book to this series. The mystery, which already started in book one is finally solved, all loose ends tied up.
Great character development, especially the transition of Niall from an grumpy loner to a loving partner, a solid part in a family and with friends.
Loved it!

Amanda, I read a few articles about increasing my reading speed so I'm giving the tricks a try. I don't know if I'll ever be as fast as you - but if I could increase my speed by even 1/4 I'd be so happy :)
Ooh what are some??I credit my speed to Law School. Being a major procrastinator and having to cover hundreds of pages a night made me have to pick up the pace quite a bit
They say I'm reading aloud in my head... like literally saying all the words - which does slow me down.(EG: if you see a STOP sign, you don't read the word, you just know what it says.)
To stop doing that, they say to trick yourself by distracting yourself - like listening to music, or touching your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
It takes practice, but it is helping.
Also, not to go back and re-read - I'm terrible like this, I do it all the time! They say to trust the author will reveal it all in time, don't go back LOL.
I've just got sooooo many books to read, and they're all coming due (or past due), and like 9 galleys that I've had since the beginning of the summer. I feel bad and I want to get caught up!
