We have this cute little Dog Bakery in Stockholm where they produce everything themselves and comes up with funny things like doggy beer and pupcakes.

I decided I needed a change of pace. My original pick was another mystery by LA Witt. But I’m going for a space military pick Liar's Waltz 😁

I'm reading Out Of Focus it's one of my favorite books. Always looking for a reason to reread it.

Same honestly. And she's not a fan of me either lol. However, that one just clicked with me.

Double thumbs up! That’s an excellent story💕

Most of LA Witt books that I like are her collaborations with other authors.

Task 5 - 29. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.
Professions such as LEO, military or musicians are ok. Just don’t try to pass off a rancher and a chef as both being in the food industry - they are simply not close enough. Please include the selected profession in your completions post and to let me know how you know the book qualifies - title, precis, tags or lists, including links and any other necessary information. I need to know where to look to confirm your books. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.

Didn’t we decide cop/law enforcement?

I am not sure I like Everett Larkin. He treats his husband terribly

I like this book but did not love it. I did like the couple like you want to in a book. I think they were terrible to the husband. I am sure once he is no longer in the book I will enjoy this series more. It just felt wrong to me

Review
Great mystery! The detective partnership, was like Holmes meeting his Watson. Larkin and Doyle were perfect foils working together. I really don’t want to give away the story, but on top of Larkin’s unusual memory, he has some serious PTSD. When I got to the end it was, “Wholly crap! Where’s the next book!”

Review: Eh, I liked the MC's well enough but I wasn't too invested in the story. The mystery/thriller plot was well done, but I figured out who the serial killer was the moment we met him.

Review: Poe sure does like picking extremely obscure conditions for their heroes to be suffering from! HSAM was very interesting. I liked Larkin, though, and how he expressed himself. I liked the way Doyle treated him and reacted to him. Like everyone else, I am not sure what the husband, Noah, did to enhance the story. Another roadblock for the two to get through to be together? I think I would have preferred to him to be an ex-husband. Love the teaser for the next book though.
