Psychos and Psychological Thrillers discussion
What author do you just automatically read when they release a new book? Like you don't even care what the summary is, you know you're going to read it because they wrote it.

For me, it's Lisa Jewell and Megan Miranda. Although I do have a few authors on close standby that I feel like as I continue to read them - they could probably make the cut.

Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. I’ve loved their other 3 books and am anxiously awaiting their 4th. Lisa Jewell is becoming a favorite too.
Chris Carter, Blake Crouch, John Marrs, T. M. Logan, Harlan Coben, Jussi Adler-Olsen, Stephen King, Karin Slaughter...
Excellent! some of these authors I have heard of and some I have not =) I'll have to look some of these up.
Britney King, Audrey J Cole, Greer H & Sarah, Megan Golden, I have a couple more can’t think of right now 🤣
I actually don’t have any. O.o I’m sort of a book cover reader. I see I book jacket I like, read the back and if the story catches me I read it.
I think it has to be John Marrs but not straight away, I like to save them for when I'm stuck in a rut
Sally Hepworth, Freida McFadden, Mary Kubica, B.A. Paris, Robyn Harding, Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen (the books they write together), Lisa Jewell, to name a few!
Greig Beck is one of them. My recent read book. From Hell

#audible #sci-fi #creaturefeature #thriller
Love the author and his books but this the #8 th book in the series has been the weakest so far considering there are a couple of novellas in between too.
#awesome concept and start. Slows down in between.

I do wish to have authors like this but somehow it just feels impossible. Maybe I will find an author like that, will just keep on reading.
I am originally from NJ, so I love reading Harlan Coben books. Comparing them to the tv adaptations after is fun. Peter Swanson, Ruth Ware, Karin Slaughter, Freida McFadden, and Alex Finlay. There's a few more but I already got carried away!
OOOOH! I have a couple that are autobuy authors for me! I will read literally anything these authors put out no matter what the synopsis is!
Riley Sager, Peter Swanson, BA Paris, Liv Constantine, Noelle W. Ihli to name a few.
I did go through a Freida McFadden kick but a lot of her books have fallen flat for me lately!

Absolute Power
David Baldacci
Debut novel. Political thriller. 1996 release.

In Too Deep
3 Stars
Reacher
Andrew has done a fair bit of improvement in the last couple of novels but somehow I feel that the soul is missing.

CHARLIE DONLEA. I’ve read every single book he’s written and never been disappointed. I also really enjoy anything by Peter Swanson, Kate Alice Marshall, and Karin Slaughter. I haven’t read every book they’ve written (yet) but they’re all on my list!
James Rollins, Lee Child, Matthew Reilly, James Patterson, John Grisham and many others. Excavation
5 stars through and through
Third time reading this.
terrifying, fast moving thriller
