so the fairies are all in this woodsy area and their magic is fading so they can only grant a few wishes every so often and this person wants a bike or something so instead of doing that she looks at this household that wants their dad back i think??? the mc fairy finds a dog and finds it annoying at first but then rides on it or whatever . btw at the beginning she goes on the journey because there are different jobs you can have and that one is considered the most dangerous or something

spoilers: apparently the fairy system is corrupt and granting a random wish isn't cool so the girl i think possibly fights the other fairies to try to change the system...i could be wrong though. i think it all ended with her trying to change the system of fairy stuff or whatever

it was a novel. i should actually change it to middle grade now that i think about it since it wasn't a tiny chapter book.

hmm..i believe they were a young adult?? just my assumption, but they did have a job and everything. i remember them remarking on how they liked how interesting their job was and didn't want a boring job. the boring jobs related to nuts??

also the mc was a girl and she had a boy fairy friend
their job was pretty serious and required lots of practice. they held this fairy dust stuff and i think used it for something?? maybe granting the wishes??
