cool :) I don't know exactly what i'll be reading this month, but if anyone is up for a buddy read of An Enchantment of Ravens starting in the next week or so that would be great! (I don't buy that many books as I mostly use libraries, so I'll have to give it back at some point, so preferably starting earlier rather than later)
@Cinthia Of course! The more the merrier :) I've signed myself for so many!!@LJ I noticed you were reading The Lord of the Rings. I have a BR for the trilogy running throughout the month if you were planning on continuing on with the series :)
Oh, I'm kind of on a temporary hiatus for that one, until mid-September, and I read it in bits and pieces, so thanks so much for the offer but I don't think I can accept -- I'd be an unreliable buddy, haha.

I'm here! Trying to distract myself to get through a kitchen reno. :) Can't bake until it's done, so maybe I'll make some progress on my TBR pile from the library.LJ I just read An Enchantment of Ravens and loved it!
Danii I'll likely jump on to the Tolkien books I own and haven't read yet. Not sure I can commit to the Hobbit & trilogy now, but September is such a great month for it being Bilbo & Frodo's birthday. ;)

I didn't even realise it was their Birthdays :) Perfect timing! Autumn always feels like Tolkien season to me lol.

@JBask good to know! I'm not the type of reader who enjoys romance-dominated books, so we'll see, but I have high hopes since sorcery of thorns is my new favorite book, and i love margaret rogerson's writing :)

How about these dates?

- Sept 15We can space them out however much you like. I normally read a book every day or two so if you want the dates closer together or farther apart then we can do that too.

Yep sounds good. I added two more lol. I would add more but I'm getting maxed out on buddies. I'm looking at around 25 next month.
I usually read at least a book a day. Usually around 4-6 on the weekend so that's fine by me.

Oh, okay. Good. We have similar reading patterns. =P Would Sept 12 and Sept 14 work for the other two books or do you already have some buddy reads on those days?
Hi guys, checking in.No TBR defined for me in September. I have been through a bit of a stressful time, so I'll be "mood reading"... probably all the month.
I didn't play in the August's challenge, so I did miss this... And I'm happy to be playing again in a team ☺️

I keep telling myself to mood read but I keep planning 'just a few BRs' but not realising I've planned my whole month :)

Thank you. I'm glad to be back. I missed the excitement of reading/playing for a challenge.
Planned reading can be fun too. (I usually do it most of the times). It Definitely gives you a schedule to follow and it's exciting to see the points add up... Just don't forget to enjoy yourself... And take it easy if you need to.

just to let you guys know - i have school so i won't be able to respond or review anything until about 3pm on weekdays, sorry about that, however i read books for school assignments sometimes so there's that! :)

I stayed up a bit too late to finish a book for last month so slowly getting things done lol. I'm hoping to get at least one book done today. I have 2 buddies but one is around 500 pages so not sure if I'll get that finished today. Back to work tomorrow so I won t get 60 books done this month lol.
All checked in up to here. Just Storm to go and then we're complete.

I've started my first two books of the month, but I also have another three on my 'currently reading' shelf that I'm hoping to finally complete this month.

Day one went well. I managed to finish The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, as I found the audio from my library app and could listen to the first third whilst I worked. I also got 50% through another audio and 50% through a physical read before bed. Hopefully I can finish both off today and carry on with my Tolkien buddy reads with The Fellowship of the Ring

I'm 40% into The Maidens and 18% into Survive the Night, but they're both INCREDIBLY similar so I'm hoping to finish Maidens up tomorrow and then get back into Survive, and also pick up Flat-Share
I finished up the audiobook for
this morning and posted my review. Off to a good start. =)

I'm now 47% into Maidens, but I'm watching yt while I update my GR shelves and then I'll be off to sleep.
I'm going to post my GR shelf here once it's updated and see if anyone wants to buddy anything! There's a lot of option, I know :p

I really loved The Maidens. I requested The Silent Patient from my library yesterday to read in October as I've heard good things about that too.

I had a ton of homework but read about 50 pages, getting pretty close to finishing one of my currently-reading books :) hopefully today'll be less busy and I can finish them both!
