I love historical romance books, it was hard not to like this book, the only minus is that is was a little to long :D but I liked it. They were enemies, but fall in love, and we se this through their actions. We have a prophecy (and I liked that), and the end was wow. This is a series I want to continue.

This was a sweet story. It was very well written and very entertaining, i read all of it in one setting. It was very sad, especially the first part of the book, didn't make me cry but still made me emotional.
Some details about the book didn't sit well with me, they just made me feel uncomfortable at some point which made me lower my rating.
I loved Annie's character but i wish she was portrayed differently at some parts, because she felt to me very naive sometimes, which made the romance less enjoyable and also less realistic to me.
But i still liked some parts so I'd say that it's an okay book.

Zsadist’s story is probably one of the most beautiful and saddest of the series . . . I wept, I was laughed, I was angry. I fell under the spell of this damaged Warrior. It’s definitely not a story for the faint of heart, but it is so worth the journey to get to Bella and Z’s HEA.

I enjoyed reading this. Sure, the book was dark and violent at times. It also had redeeming moments. I liked Claire and Shepherd. I didn't agree with them often, but I understood their actions. My favorite thing about this book was that it wasn't an insta love. It wouldn't keep me wanting to read more if it had been. I am already up to the third book in the series. I will definitely continue reading it.

Rating: 4 stars
Review:
Jane writes a fluff article for a newspaper, but dreams of more. When she is offered the opportunity to be the hockey sports reporter for the local team, Jane takes it, hoping to use the experience to get a better job. Jane doesn’t know anything about hockey, but she studies up so that she knows what she’s writing about. She does know of one of the players, the goal tender, Luc. Luc completely ignored her at his introduction meet and greet. Although Jane isn’t all right with it, she is used to being overlooked by men for more showy, obvious types. The team, however, doesn’t want a woman travelling with them and perhaps spilling all their secrets. All Jane cares about is doing a good job, but that’s tough to do when the hockey players either ignore her questions or give her one word answers. Even though she definitely isn’t his type, Luc notices Jane more and more. At first he just wants to annoy her because she annoys him, but Jane beats him at darts and earns her own rpteam nickname, Luc starts to seek her out. Both are still keeping secrets, though, that could wreck their budding relationship.
Light. Frothy. Fun. A quick read. There wasn’t a lot of character development going on in the story, but I really appreciated that this book that I hadn’t read before didn’t make me want to tear up my ereader and delete every book I own by this author, which seems to have happened way too often lately. Jane was quirky and true to herself. She didn’t undergo a permanent radical makeover to catch the attention of the man she was pining over. Luc was a little bit more of a mystery, even though we do get his POV. I appreciated that none of the hockey players were a stereotype of men in romance (all he-man or super romantic with big gestures. Sometimes both at the same time.) Luc cooked, focused on boobs, and didn’t have any expectations when it came to what women should and shouldn’t do. He had objections to Jane because of the type of column that she wrote.

The Omega's Secret Baby
Rating: 1 star
Review:
Eli gave birth to a little boy over 7 years ago. As a result, he is shunned, both as an unmated omega, and as an omega who won’t name the father of his child. Eli also gave up a secondary education to be the best father that he could be, and now works a low paying job at an animal shelter. That job may be in jeopardy, as there is very little money coming in, and he and another employee are the newest hires. Eli never told Matt they had a son because they both agreed that their relationship had a deadline, since Matt was getting married to an appropriate woman in the fall. However, Matt returns to town fresh from a divorce, and Eli and their son are the first people he runs in to. Eli lets Matt know, and the two of them decide that they want to try for a relationship.
I really didn’t like this. It was like a Harlequin secret baby romance, in all the worst ways. Both Eli and a Matt seemed really immature, with an all-or-nothing attitude. For example, Eli couldn’t go to vet school and be a father. Matt had to work all the time or not work at all. I also didn’t understand how an omega was supposed to be mated if alpha’s had to stay away from them. As for the writing, it was all right at first, but then the exclamation points started. They went away! But never fear, they came back! This just wasn’t what I was looking for at this time, compounded by the characters and the writing.

Page numbers:- 327 pages.
How the book qualifies: #1 Impregnation Stories are Domination at their Finest.
Rating: 3.5 ⭐
Review:- Even though Claimed: Special 10th Anniversary Edition is ten years old, it is entertaining.
Claimed is an inventive and quirky sci-fi romance with an adorable hero who lacks some social skills, including how to romance a woman. Baird is le sex on the alien stick. He’s very persuasive with his body in the way that Olivia can barely deny him. At no time does Baird overpower Olivia or force her to do what Baird wants, which means when they are intimate. He may start something but leaves it up to Olivia to finish it.
The only downside of Claimed is that it’s too long. There are long passages of internal dialogue from Olivia and shifting back and forth between her sister on Earth and then back on the ship. Also, the ending with the Scourge seems tacked on to invoke a more emotional response so there can be a believable HEA to cement why Olivia has fallen for Baird.

Review:- Carolyn Brown is an author that writes small town, close-door romances. The Strawberry Hearts Diner is one of those sweet romances. I enjoyed reading it very much. All of the characters are very loveable, and at some point, can be reflective.
This story shows yes, we have a blood family, but sometimes the adoptive family can bring more potential.
The Strawberry Hearts Diner is about strong women The wise Nettie who was the mother to Vicky; Vicky raising Emily as a single parent wanting the best for her daughter; Emily wishing to be the pleaser but also wanting to be herself and guide her life in the direction she thinks is best; and Jancy, the girl who moved around a lot and never felt adequate. The author writes a story about family, growth, acceptance, and love. There is no cliffhanger, but I hope another book explores Vicky's upcoming new life and the changes in store for Emily and Jancy.
This book fulfills two of my reading challenges.

It has been a really long time since I read this book. I really have to say that it was just as good the second time around. I read so much that I tend to forget a lot of what I read. That, or I get confused on what goes on and mix up the plots. This book stuck with me enough that I remembered some of it as I was reading. That says something. Usually only books that stand out to me can make this happen, or the ones that I have read multiple times.
Overall, this is a great book and an action-packed start to the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I love Beth and Wrath. They are both strong characters. I also love that this book adds other characters into it and gives them time to start their stories. It makes you want to read more. That is what I plan to do.

A brand new series which looks like it going to be good.
I started reading this in the early hours of the morning after not being able to sleep and couldn't put it down.
A discovery of a mass grave brings Dakota back to his home town and back to the man who broke his heart.
The mystery was really good and as usual I didn't figure out the killer.
Can't wait for book 2.

The layers of this book... It was as complex as Rehvenge himself. And Ehlena was the perfect shellen for him. She wasn’t the meek female she seemed to be a first. She was a fighter and just what Rehv needed. Plus the added background stories with Xhex, JM, Thor, and Wrath just keep building on this exceptional world.

I have read many books in this series, is a book for every state and this book is for New York. Here the heroine is kidnapped by the hero and taken to a remote island with the thought that her father is waiting for her there, to find out that he is not there, and then she finds out it's kidnapped, then after she finds out it's not or that it's ... a mess. The hero name changed in the book many times, it was full of secrets... The action takes place too quickly towards the end but it is to be expected. Overall is a good book to pass the time and I do not regret that I read it (that's because it was short XD)

I could have seriously loved this book. I mean, rent-boy, autistic MC, a little kinky, sweet as hell. But it suffered from a serious lack of dual POV, especially when one of the POVs would have been fascinating. Then you have the major pet peeve of fade-to-black sex. That’s a huge deal-breaker for me, especially when the entire plot revolves around the intimacy they share.

I love this series. Oh, who am I kidding? I've blocked almost everything this author has written. My favorite thing about the book is the humor. You never know what Jade is going to say or do. I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times.
I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I know Colin has a book and I'm pretty sure Nathan has one also.

Yes, that should be ok as I think everybody else has chosen a book.

Review: Yes, Eve & Roarke is a couple I enjoy very much. The interpersonal relationships are what make this such a strong series. Despite the mutual respect between Eve and her commander, their relationship becomes strained because Eve homes in on the victim's son as her prime suspect. Never mind that this is the exact reason why Whitney put her on the case - because she wouldn't show bias - he still resents her for it, which of course, annoys Eve.
These barks are so easy and quick to read. I can't believe that I'm just now reading this series when it has been available forever! I enjoyed getting to know Eve and Roarke more. The tension in their relationship was my favorite part of the book. I see the technological advances more. The change in laws we all know and hold dear are becoming more apparent, making this series quite refreshing, and it stands apart from others. Though I loved this installment, a few elements of this mystery irked me. It just seemed too similar in theme to the first one. The low opinion of women and Roarke as a suspect is a trend that I hope stops right now. Or at least give it a break. It was a fun read, and I had no idea of the killer at all. The drama between the characters kept me turning each page and wanting more.

Malachi needs to work, and his father gets him a job at the Dead Letter Office in the Sydney postal system. Malachi isn't expecting to stay long, as jobs never take with him, but the quirky co-workers and his hot boss, not to mention the job itself, have him enjoying it more than he expected to.
Malachi isn't a bad person, nor does he just want to sit around and do nothing. He just hasn't found a fit for himself in the workforce. With the ever changing aspect of the type of mail that gets lost for various reason, this new job is varied enough to keep him interested. It helps that his co-workers are not the judging type, and Malachi is really intrigued by his supervisor, Julian. He's also intrigued by the mystery letters that have been around the office for a long time. Malachi and Julian start working together to figure out who the writer is, so the letters can be returned. I chuckled several times while reading this, and I enjoyed it a lot more than other recent publications by this author.
