I can't remember the name of the author of this book. I remember the book started with the heroine getting fired from the bar she works either for beeing pregnant, either for turning down unwanted advances of men. The hero, having witnessed , takes the heroine to the small apartment she rents but can't afford anymore to collect her things and move in with him, even though he's a stranger and She doesn't trust him. I don't remember anything else further in the plot but I would really like to re-read this book.
